Our Guiding Principles

Human Rights

We advocate for equal application of basic human rights for all. Every human has the right to life, liberty, and personal safety, without fear of slavery, torture, or degrading treatment.

Civil Rights

We advocate for legislation that protects civil rights for all, including the right to vote for elected representatives, to worship freely, to live free of discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin; to access protections of due process; and to access health care and human services.

Equality

We advocate for every person to have an equal opportunity for employment, without discrimination based on race, color, religion, age, disability, genetics, national origin, or sex — including pregnancy, gender identity or sexual orientation.
